Happy Wednesday Vikings!!!  This weekend is the GWPL Championships at Cherokee AC and tonight is our last practice.  Below are some important things to know going into this weekend.  

GWPL Championships

• Please use the official GWPL Schedule for game times and check it often.  This is a true tournament so the only game that is set at the moment is the first game.  The rest of the games will depend on win/loss and where we are in the bracket
• Viking Boys B vs Spartens - 3PM (pool 1)
• Viking Girls vs APS - 4PM (pool 1)
• Viking Boys A vs Chamblee - 5PM (pool 1)

There will be a $10 admission fee for spectators 13+ years old. Spectators can pay the full weekend fee of $20 up front if they wish. A spectator is defined as a non-athlete or non- coach.

Practice Tonight and Pictures

Tonight is the last practice and the Lakeside yearbook photographer will be there.  We plan to take team photos so it is important that we are all there EARLY at 7:30PM!!!  We may also take photos on deck at the Championship but let's do our best to get that out of the way tonight if we can.  

• Wear your Viking suit if you have one.
• Bring or wear your Viking t-shirt as well.  
• We may take photos with both or decide what is better tonight. 

Save the date, Thursday, October 30th is when we plan to have our end of season banquet.  We will be hosting the banquet again at the Leafmore Club House.  The location is 1373 Altamont Dr, Decatur, GA 30033.  Exact times and details coming soon. 

It has been a great season so let's finish strong this weekend and remember to have great sportsmanship and to have fun.
