Isabella “Bella” Nuñez brings over eleven of water polo experience to our club, combining an accomplished playing career with a growing legacy as a coach in Georgia.
At Lakeside High School, she was a three-time Women’s A Team MVP, earned All-State and All-Star honors all four years, was named 2019 Female MVP of the State, and led her team to a State Championship title. She also made the ODP team every year she was eligible and was one of the first girls from Georgia selected for the NTSC.
Bella is now Head Coach of Viking Water Polo, the Lady Vikings, and the Georgia Tech Women’s Water Polo Team, as well as Girls Coach of the Year 2024. That same year, she guided the Developmental Team to 1st place, the Girls A Team to 3rd, and the Boys D1 Team to 3rd in the Georgia Water Polo League. She is also VVP and co-founder of GWPL.
Dedicated to growing the sport in Georgia, Bella strives to create opportunities for athletes of all levels to learn, compete, and love the game.
Hi, I'm Max Ware. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I was a year around swimmer at dynamo for my whole grade school career and started playing water polo in 2014 at lakeside. I played throughout my college career being the president of the club and coaching my team in the process. I am excited to return to my alma mater, and to coach for the team that I came from.
