Congratulations Vikings!!!!

What a great showing this past weekend at the GWPL Championships!!! The coaches and parents could not be more proud. Everyone played well and also demonstrated great sportsmanship throughout the weekend. Here is a brief summary of how we finished

• The DEV (u14 Coed) Team finished 1st!!!!
  • Defeated Norcross 8-7
• The Girls Team finished 3rd!!!
  • Defeated APS 14-6
• The Boys A (Gold) Team finished 3rd!!!
  • Defeated Norcorss 9-8
• The Boys B (Purple) Team played some really tough teams and gained some valuable experience to carry into next season. Great effort all around you should be proud.

Save the Date!!!

Please save the date: Monday, October 28th 6PM - 9PM for our end of the season banquet. We will host the event at the Leafmore Creek Clubhouse. We plan to provide a meal, slideshow, awards, and senior recognition so stay tuned for more details!!! We want everyone to be there to celebrate the season.

More Water Polo Opportunities!!!

The GWPL season is over but there are plenty of opportunities to continue to play water polo in the off-season. See below for a list of a few options:

• USAWP Olympic Development Program ODP
  • Where: Dynamo Swim Center
  • When: October 26, 12:00pm-5:00pm and October 27, 8:00am-2:00pm
  • Cost: $235
  • This is probably the most important water polo camp an athlete can participate in and it is at Dynamo. No travel.
• There are a few tournaments we are looking for athletes to participate in.
  • Battle of the Bay: November 9th, 10th, Clearwater Florida
  • Reach out to Pam Hege
  • Beast of the East: December 13th - 15th, Orlando Florida
