Happy Monday, tonight is our first practice of the fall season at 6:00 - 7:30PM at Dynamo.  We will be in the indoor competition pool and please do you best to be on-deck ready to swim at 6.  We know this is early for us and we only have this time slot for this week.  Junior and Senior players be prepared to help out tonight greeting new players and helping with practice.  We are excited to see everyone tonight at the pool!  

Parents, I will be at practice if you want to come in and chat about all things water polo.  We are looking to have a parent meeting next week after the first week of school calms down.  

Registration for the Fall 2024 water polo season is OPEN!!! The registration button can be found on our website or through the link below. PLEASE forward this message to anyone that may be interested in trying out water polo so they can have the signup information. Even if they are not ready to sign-up make sure they sign-up for the GroupMe so they can stay informed.

• Fall Registration

Reminder: We are now part of the new Georgia Water Polo League which means all athletes must have a USA Water Polo bronze membership or above to register!!! You will be asked in 2 areas on the registration form for the USA Water Polo membership number.

• Bronze Membership ($45) is required to participate in GWPL practices and games this fall season. Silver and Gold membership are also fine but not required if you only plan to play in GWPL fall season. Happy to field questions on our GroupMe channel!

I have updated the calendar in the TeamTopia app/site to reflect the practice dates and times we have at the moment. Some things could change or we may add some additional practice opportunities. So please make sure everyone is on the GroupMe to ensure they are getting latest updates. I have also updated the schedule for the game weekends!

Make sure you and your athlete are signed up for the Viking Water Polo GroupMe

• We use our TeamTopia for broad email notifications but we will continue to use the our GroupMe channel for more frequent updates and reminders.
• GroupMe is bidirectional and allows parents, athletes and coaches to send important messages about practices and games.
• When you register via TeamTopia you will automatically be added to the email notifications but GroupMe is a separate system and you need to signup separately.
